Red Ribbon Week

Students at Charles Evans released hundreds of balloons into the sky. Well look what they got back in the mail this week. A kind lady in Howe, Texas, mailed it
back to them with a very kind note to Mr. Jones & his students and included
$100.00! Charles Evans Principal Denise Brunk stated, “We were so touched by her willingness to return the balloon but to also include a donation......overwhelming.’

Ardmore Tigers will host the first round of playoffs Friday night at Noble Stadium with a 7:30 kickoff. Our veterans and one guest will be admitted free of charge, simply by showing their driver’s license, which has a seal indicating the person is a veteran. If the individual has not renewed their license in the last couple of years, a veteran ID card or any proof of identification is acceptable. Thank you to the OSSAA Board for making this available for our veterans!

The Lady Tiger's bus drove by Charles Evans first, where they were greeted by lots of Tiger Fans. Charles Evans Principal, Mrs. Brunk says, "It was a special celebration especially considering that 6 of the 21 lady softball team were CE students." Go Lady Tigers - Charles Evans is cheering hard for all of you!

Our community will be voting next Tuesday on the renewal of the sales tax. Many of you have asked us how much Ardmore Schools has received over the last five years and what have we used those funds for. Specifically, Ardmore has used the sales tax funds for technology equipment and instructional classroom materials. We have received over $3.41 million in funds to date. Attached is a flier which gives you a quick look at just what those technology items were.
